Krista Cohenour

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, Krista Cohenour oversees daily back-office operations with a heavy emphasis on team collaboration, diligence, and proactivity. She is committed to empowering her team members in their professional development to provide best-in-class service to all of Midwestern Securities’ partners.

She brings with her almost a decade of project management experience, focused heavily on process design and new product offering development. She believes the key to success at any organization is a dedication to empowering your teams to ask questions, propose creative solutions, and look for the question behind the question.

Born and raised in Peoria, Krista now lives in West Peoria, Ill., with her husband, Dustin, and their two cats, Capote and Harper. Krista enjoys game nights with friends, painting, and exploring new cities. She studied at Illinois State University and is currently studying for her SIE exam.
