Austin VanLaningham

Service Coordinator

As a Service Coordinator, Austin VanLaningham is the home-office assistant for a portion of the wealth management teams in our network. He assists our financial advisors in a variety of operational matters so they can focus on building their businesses.

A graduate of Monmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a minor in Economics, Austin also spent time working as a Customer Service Representative in the retail banking industry during college. The experience and knowledge he gained in that position have made him a valuable member of the Midwestern Securities team. He has obtained his FINRA Securities Industry Essentials test and plans to obtain his Series 7 and 66 licenses as well.

Austin was born and raised in Princeville, and now lives in Metamora with his dog, Niko. In his free time, he enjoys staying active with sports and at the gym, as well as traveling and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys using his love of physical activity to help others by participating in charity 5k races and other benefit events.
