Jim Motteler

As Director of Business Development, Jim Motteler is focused on building new partnership opportunities with community banks and credit unions. He is committed to helping institutions realize the potential that comes with creating recurring revenue through a turnkey investment services division with Midwestern Securities. He also serves as the lead sales coach for our advisors.

Jim earned an associate degree from Illinois Central College. Before joining Midwestern Securities in 2016, he worked in sales for 12 years and as a Finance and Insurance Manager for eight years. He enjoys getting to know our partners and advisors and helping them create a plan to reach their goals and build their businesses.

Jim was born and raised in Peoria and now lives in Chillicothe, Ill., with his two children. He and his family enjoy spending time outdoors and camping together. Jim is a member of the board of directors for IVC Youth Athletics, and coaches both his children in baseball and softball. He enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as playing sports.
